Welcome to Acorns Pl                                

     Acorns opened in a classroom at Bilton Grange School in September 2007. We offer full day care to all children aged from 2 and a half years up to school age, during term time. Our aim is to provide high quality early education and care, through planning for all children individually, based on their own interests and abilities. We base our daily practice on the Scandinavian principle of pedagogy, where children learn through having a stimulating and high quality learning environment in which the adult role is to facilitate each child's learning and development. We have recently had our outdoor area refurbished in order to make the outdoor environment as stimulating and exciting for the children as the indoors.

We welcome all children and all types of families, and endeavour to remove any barriers to learning so that all children have equal opportunities to enjoy and achieve to their full potential. We celebrate diversity and difference. We work in partnership with Bilton Grange School and other local schools so that the transitions to reception classes can be as smooth as possible.
